Meta's AI offered to do a 'movie poster' of me based on scanning my Instagram account. I went for it. AI can be fun. When the robots start killing us I'll change my mind, but as a long time illustrator, this rocks. (Except I'm actually left handed.)

This is an animated version of a painting I did for Ron Garran's book Railroad to the Moon. I like how the AI tech handles it. Many people are afraid of AI, but I see it as a tool, which is how it is used here.

I did the cover of the Fall 2004 edition of On Spec Magazine, The Canadian Magazine of the Fantastic. They also interviewed me. One of my favorite write ups.

I don't hate AI. Yet. But it is interesting to see what it does with my art. This is Rocket #171 put through Meta's AI 'animate my photo' filter. I added some John Williams Star Wars audio. It is cool on a level.

Student rocket paintings inspired by my rockets from Hangleton Primary School, East Sussex, England, 2026. Thanks to teacher Rose Mills for sending me scans of her 10 - 12 yr olds paintings. These are some of my favorites.

Rocket #207 is finished. Acrylic on stretched canvas, 14" x 24". Thanks to all who have supported this series. Doing book covers is really really cool, but the rockets may be cooler!

A primary school teacher from Swansea, Wales, asked me to do a video for her art class of 5- 7 yr olds, explaining why I like space and why I paint rockets.
